I've been working with Drupal for some time now -- the main reason I stay with it is because of the community. The collaborative nature of it's members has helped me solve many issues I've encountered.

So, for any of you who've come to one of our Lunch and Learns, chances are you've seen the slide where I mention that I'm on 3 different Advisory Board Committees at Francis Tuttle Technology Center.  Today was one of those meeting days where the committee gets together and discusses current industry issues, where the industry is going, and what things will get a student hired in Oklahoma.

I talk about Drupal pretty much all the time.  The reasons for this vary greatly, but one of the primary reasons is that it's really easy to get passionate about something this big.  See Drupal is kind of new to Oklahoma, and Oklahoma web design shops for sure, but that doesn't mean that it's "new".  Drupal's been around for more than 6 years now and in that time, it has become a force to be reckoned with.  There were literally over 700 developers who helped to work on Drupal 6, to make it the best product they could.  And already those same developers are...
