I got to dig a bit deeper that I would have liked recently into the bowels of aegir. I needed to alter the apache site .conf file. This is a file that is controlled by aegir, so if you modify it directly. It will surely change at the next verify.
We are currently deploying an Aegir based system for one of our clients. The client provides a Drupal ‘reporting’ system for their software. They have many customers around the country. Each customer has a separate Drupal Deployment.
So, I have been inspired from a recent video to go play with AEgir. I thought I would try it on my laptop, so off to install DAMP.
I must say, I was very impressed with the DAMP install. Simple, straightforward, quick. Oh yea, and it 'Just Works'! Very impressive. I played with the Drupal install for a few minutes and it all seems in order.
